bhi design and manufacture a range of DSP noise cancellation products to improve the voice quality in PMR & Marine Radio communications. Our products incorporate fully adaptive Digital Signal Processing technology (DSP) and will greatly improve the speech quality when communicating from within noisy environments like construction sites, motorsport, airports, railways, marine, transport etc. Unwanted noise and interference picked up during the communication will be removed, ensuring that the end user will understand the message. This is very important in emergency service and mission critical situations. The products are also suitable for use with marine HF SSB, and VHF Radios.

There are several noise cancelling solutions to choose from:
If you have Icom “F” series commercial radios, simply plug one of our NNTDSP.001 DSP pcb modules into the “Option” socket of the radio and the radio will become DSP noise cancelling.

Another easy way to add our DSP noise cancelling is to connect one of the bhi DSP noise cancelling speakers into the extension speaker socket at the rear of the radio or via the radios headphone socket, or use one of the DSP in-line modules with your own extension speaker.

Install/retrofit modules:
The small NEDSP1061-PCB DSP module is a small compact printed circuit board that can be designed or retrofitted into almost any radio system to add DSP noise cancelling on the transmit or receive path. The NNTDSP.001 DSP pcb module can also be used in this type of application when fitted in the receive path.

Marine Products:
There are two bhi products aimed specifically at the marine market, the NEMS waterproof DSP noise eliminating speaker and the ANEMAR noise cancelling in-line module. Both products can be easily connected to your marine radio system to give you improved voice communications.
