These headphones reduce the ambient background noise to allow you to listen to the program source peacefully.  They do this by utilising active noise reduction trechnology (ANR), by incorporating microphones to monitor the ambient noise. These microphones are wired out of phase and feed a differential amplifier which generates an opposing signal to that of the unwanted noise. This signal then cancels out the unwanted background noise.
The headphones effectively reduce noise such as blower noise, ambient noise, jet engine noise or music from another room so that you can listen stress free.  The headphones are supplied with an aircraft adapter, so you can now listen clearly to the film, or CD player inside the aircraft.
